Information we collect

When you use Total Joint Voyage we collect information you provide directly: name, date of birth, mobile phone number, email address, mailing address, surgical procedure information, intake responses, insurance details, and other information necessary to coordinate your care. We also collect technical information automatically such as device type, browser, and pages visited.

How we use information

We use your information to schedule and confirm appointments, deliver intake and clearance reminders, send pre- and post- operative education, support your care team in coordinating treatment, and comply with legal obligations including HIPAA where applicable.

SMS messaging program

By providing your mobile number and checking the consent box during booking or intake, you agree to receive recurring text messages from Total Joint Voyage. Message types include appointment reminders, intake-completion nudges, surgical-clearance status updates, joint-class enrollment confirmations, and post-operative education prompts.

We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with subprocessors (such as our SMS carrier) strictly to deliver the service you have opted into.

How we share information

We share information with your care team (the orthopedic practice and surgery-center staff treating you), with subprocessors who operate the platform under written agreements (hosting, database, email, and SMS providers), and when required by law. We do not sell personal information.

Your choices

You may opt out of SMS at any time by replying STOP. You may request access, correction, or deletion of your information by emailing privacy@sherlockhealth.ai. Requests involving protected health information will be routed to your treating practice in accordance with HIPAA.
